"Live Video Streaming" - stream your mobile live video to online.
It should be useful when we are going to shopping and buying some gifts for our loved ones , at that time we can ask to open our live video streaming website and let them to choose colors and models of clothes or any things.

we should think many use cases like salesforce team, journalist etc... basic idea is Live video streaming. should design our app after some use case research.

Track a person path using Geolocation or network.
Get the starting point and ending point and start tracking when the user starts his/her trip every xx seconds.
This will help parents to track/watch their child during a trip to make sure they are safe.

Capthca Alarm:
It's too easy for me to "mute" the alarm & doze off again. I want something more drastic to wake me up, but short of throwing the phone. How about the alarm screen showing me a captha & unless I fill in the correct one it wouldn't stop ringing. Maybe let me choose the difficulty level of captcha from soving 2+2 to the classic gibberish ones. & option to disable the volume rocker buttons. (How much native can Rhomobile go? :) )

Take a snap of newspaper article & search it on the web:
I often read an article in newspaper & want to share it in my social circle. To do that I have to search the online version of article myself by entering using article caption. Often that doesn't present the same article & then I have to go to the specific e-paper to find it. How about a Google Goggles like, but not the same, app where I would take a snap of the article & it would fetch (rather than present lengthy search results) the online version of the article. I can augment the input by also snapping the name of the newspaper, or the app would let me select it through a menu. Would be huge time saver.

Sodexo Coupon Calculator:
It is often frustrating to be at the billing counter
& match the Sodexo coupon denominations for the bill amount. Double irritating for the people behind you in the queue. Well I had made an Android application for it. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.yuvera.couponcalculator Those who have used it, love it. But I'd really want to see it being made for all major smartphone platforms. I can open source my code for that purpose. For my future apps I'd like to see how Rhomobile is able to do the following "native" things that my app does: animations, local storage, location fetching, background tasks & cloud stuff like -fetching the coupon denominations issued by an org (after crowd sourcing) that. Additionally, in light of recent issue with meal voucher, it should tell me about the stores where the coupons are accepted.

I'm looking for an application (ideally opensource) that would allow a PDF file ("talent" schedule for an art school) from a resource scheduling app I can't get access to... - so I only have a PDF file (looks like an Excel spreadsheet)...- I need to get the information listed on this PDF spreadsheet into the scheduling app on iPhones and Android mobile phones and apps (used by the artists, models, and talent - who are on the schedule.)

If I can work this out - I will be making major "brownie points" with the academy institution - and we'll be able to provide the talent with an app that will make their lives easier - and more likely to be on-time and more familiar with their schedule. The university will LOVE it - because it would mean that folks would have easy and accurate access to their schedules !!

Any recommendation to a productive tool or opensource application - would be GREATLY appreciated.

Build a mobile version of 'freemind' (open source) or 'Mind Manager' (proprietary Windows App) that provides a way to capture 'brainstorms' by drawing a graph of relationships. I have been using these tools for sketching out ideas and would like to have an Android tool that was compatible with them.

These ideas so far are much too serious. :-) How about a pizza order composer:

- Tell the app how many people there are.

- For each one, tell the app:

= How hungry they are, in terms of the number of slices they would want from a standard-size pizza.

= What toppings they like or hate.

= Optionally, a name under which to store their topping preferences for later reuse.

- The app should figure out the cheapest pizza order that will satisfy everybody, with minimal leftovers, and minimal neutral toppings, using a mix of sizes if need be... and how much each person should chip in.

- Ideally, the app should be "repurposable" for any other food commonly ordered as a group and shared, with different sizes and options such as toppings.

How about a mobile application that can access the hard disk of the computer via a wifi, and possibly treat the hard disk as though it is present in the mobile phone itself. Like playing songs or videos from it, without having to download from the computer.

AUTOMATED RESPONSE DURING DRIVING

I'm interested in using mobile phone cameras to capture and decode barcodes. This would be useful to integrate multiple devices and act as a backup device when power fails in a shop and automated billing, inventory tracking, etc. stops. Capturing minimum data for later offline processing would be helpful. For my personal situation in a non-profit organisation which is thinking of putting scarce finances into buying barcode scanners, this would let us put money into buying sub-5000 Rs Android phones instead of a Rs.15-20k scanner+laptop/desktop combo.
